For the moments when something big happens. Illness, loss, separation, crisis, or a time that shakes everything. For the feelings and thoughts that have no place. For reconnecting with what's inside.
When someone faces a crisis, three dimensions are intertwined: body, mind, and spirit. Medicine treats the body. Psychology treats the mind. A spiritual companion searches together with the person for their unique inner strengths. Even when it seems there's nothing left to draw from.
Spiritual companionship (Chaplaincy) is a profession rooted in hospitals, palliative care, rehabilitation, and hospice worldwide. Not therapy. Not coaching. Not religion. A companion who sits beside you, truly listens, and gives space to pain, shame, fear, and the questions that have no ready answers.
A private session. An hour, two hours, whatever is needed. At the clinic, at home, or wherever feels right. Also for families and teams.
Tools in a session: conversation, music, cards, writing, texts, breathing, guided imagery.
A card takes the choice away from you. When you pick your own question you pick the safe one, every time. In a group the card is also a third object: nobody is exposed alone, everybody is holding cardboard.
The decks I work with are on one shelf: my own Reframe deck, Reut Klein's Permission to Grieve cards, and five more, physical and digital. You can add the one you keep going back to.
Open the card libraryFour meetings in a small, intimate group at the Goldenthal Center. Space to process loss, to remember, and to find who remains. Registration is a commitment to all four meetings.
Eligible bereaved families may be entitled to National Insurance (Bituach Leumi) funding for spiritual accompaniment. In acute distress: Eran hotline 1201, 24/7, free.
